Cyclesomething creates poppy, spatial, soundscapes with an acoustic guitar and the use of what I imagine to be a software synthesizer. The instrumentation is experimental at times, though never being completely independent of catchy pop progressions, most notably in "Rubber". Cyclesomething has a refreshing collection of influences in their songs - when you're done listening, you're trying to pinpoint where you've heard something similar, whether it be in the melancholy vocals, the droney acoustic guitars or the electronic pads that give the songs a soft, feathery foundation. In the end, you'll find that your search ends you up with an array of talented artists who have impacted music in the past. Cyclesomething has the capability to become part of that dynamic collective when all is said and done.
