Back to the list
Q: How did you get started in the recording aspect of the music industry? A: I started out by being in bands with my friends and then wanting to record them. We would just try getting different sounds in my basement whenever we could. Then I started doing the same with my other friends' bands. I just kept on doing that over and over. Somewhere along the way I interned at a studio, which helped with a lot stuff, like getting familiar with the equipment and learning new ideas. I got to see different approaches from people, which was real helpful. That whole process is pretty much the same right now, just with some more elaborate equipment and some more friends to talk to about music and making records.
